County of Los Angeles Solicits Green Leadership Award Applications

The County of Los Angeles is accepting applications for the 2012 “Green Leadership Awards” program.  This program recognizes outstanding efforts to improve our environmental sustainability.  Each year, residents, businesses and local organizations face challenges involving environmental issues in the County. The Board of Supervisors seeks to recognize the outstanding efforts to address these challenges.

The program is open to all County residents, public agencies, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

Application deadline:   February 24, 2012 by 5:00 p.m.
